A:   I would encourage you to be present for the inspection. This is the best time to ask about things you may have been wondering that go deeper than just the walls.

A:   A home inspection is where I will come into your residential home and take a look at many things.  For a fee, I will check things like structural components, roof, siding, any porches or breezeways, electrical wiring, plumbing, heating/cooling, walls, ceilings, insulation, and any ventilation.  These are just some of the items that I will visually inspect.

A:   It is not needed unless your mortgage company is requiring it but I would still highly recommend it. This is probably the biggest investment you will ever make. Why not get it inspected to assure yourself that it’s a great investment? If you don’t have an inspection and later find a major problem in the home, it will be your pocket that gets emptied from the repairs.

A:  A home inspection generally takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Please note that this is a general guideline and sometimes it can go longer depending on what I may find. I never schedule home inspections too close to one another. I want to spend as much time with you and to answer all your questions. You are my client and I won't be satisfied until you are. you are.

7.  How do I get my home inspection report?

  1.  What is a General Home Inspection?

A:   I use a web-based reporting software called Report Host. I deliver all my reports electronically. I also deliver all my reports within 24 hours after your home inspection has occurred. I know that some Home Inspectors deliver their report on site, but I believe in taking a little extra time and care to go over the findings to give you the most reliable report possible. In the event that you are not able to receive the report electronically, we can discuss an alternate delivery method. You can find a sample of my reports on the Customer Portal page.

A:    We all know that life has a way of throwing us curve balls when we least expect it. Canceling or rescheduling is never a problem. I just ask for at least 24 to 48 hours notice. Cancellations the day of the inspection will be subject to a fee totaling half of the inspection fee.  When your appointment was confirmed, that time was reserved for you. If you reschedule the day of the appointment, no fee will be charged.
